Synthetic Slag

Synthetic slag is a pre-melted and manufactured product made from calcium and alumina blended in the right proportions, crushed into powder, and melted in a furnace. Typical elements and compounds found in our synthetic slag are: CA, CA2, C3A, and C12A7. Synthetic slag is mostly used for de-sulphurization and non-metallic inclusion absorption. It acts as a thermal barrier and purifies steel by preventing it from interacting with oxygen, nitrogen, and other unwanted components during the secondary stage of steel making.
